What This Site Is About

All of us, in some way, are tasting the affects of a sour economy and could benefit from some ideas of how to support ourselves and our families and defend ourselves against hard times. This site provides those ideas in a unique way that allows all of us the opportunity to give one another a hand up.

The nature of any economy is to reset itself from time to time; it’s healthy in the long run. Meanwhile, we have to live in it. So let’s help each other live comfortably in it. To quote from the theme song of a popular 80’s sitcom, “Life is more than mere survival; and we just might live the good life yet.”

I encourage anyone and everyone to e-mail me and:

• Share ideas on how to conserve and save;
• Give suggestions about how to keep one’s current job;
• Spread the word about ways to diversify one’s income;
• Find and post helpful resources that relate to the above;
• Tell about your experiences with any of the above.

This site is not an opt-in program, or a program of any kind for that matter, nor is it an earning opportunity in itself. It’s simply a place for you and me to share real life observations, ideas, experiences and lessons learned. Keep in mind that many of us are not economic or employment experts, myself included. If you are then please enlighten us. Most of us, though, are just regular people with input to give and hopefully something to gain.
